Save Weekley Hall Woods! The campaigners will not go away, of that I am sure, whatever today’s meeting will bring. I am still scratching my head as to why a family as wealthy as the Buccleuchs had the breathtakingly egocentric Buccleuch Monuments (housed in a church in Warkton) extensively cleaned and restored with National Lottery funds.
I signed the petition, think the campaigners are in the right and are doing a great job, but I have no doubt which way the forelock-touching councillors will jump ... 😔
