More "lessons learned" statements but no accountability.

Who is being held accountable for these failures? If a regular bobby neglected their duty like this they'd be in front of a panel on a misconduct charge, yet those responsible for this mess fail time and again and never face scrutiny for their incompetence or negligence.

The organisation will nod sagely and prattle on about "lessons being learned" instead of taking responsibility, but these are lessons that those responsible already knew full well, yet still they failed to do their job. There is a 'neglect of duty' clause in the Misconduct in Public Office definition, and it should be applied to whoever was so wilful negligent in this instance.

Oh dear. It's disappointing , blah , blah blah.

The whole Commissioner fro Crime busiiness is a political setup ripe for corruption from the start.

The only thing they've managed to do successfully, year on year, is to increase the police precept, which we mugs in the rates paying community have to fork out for.

For those of you who feel the same about the report title "Pre- Employment Checks and Vetting Review" from the Commissioner office dated 31st July 2024. Watch tonight at 6pm my comments on ITV. This report is a lot of bxxxxxt. Saying that "Robust", "Rigorous" and "lesson has been learned" is not to be believed anymore. This was an internal review and does not gives any reassurance to the community.
