Looks like its the end of the line for the existing market traders as I would expect if they are moved off their businesses will collapse and they will not return.
The new market will no doubt charge higher fees for the pitches so who will want to come there in view of the dire straits of the rest of the town centre where so many shops are vacant and the market itself was far from full?
