As this is an election year, asssuming the unitary elections go ahead this will be a challenging decision for any existing or would be councillor to defend.
Yes - it will no doubt be a packed council meeting when it does go to committee. Your guess is as good as ours as to whether Northamptonshire will have its elections cancelled once again.

Certainly the risk of no elections again is something that should be ca
mpaigned against and if necessary looking at alternative solutions like an all postal ballot or electronic voting
