Well done Sara, what a fantastic 1st quarter for NN Journal. Your reporting of the important, but often hidden, events in the county has been first class.

For the first time I can remember, we subscribers are reading of events that matter to us all, but would never have learned of anywhere else.

I hope that NN Journal continues to thrive and subscriptions increase throughout the year.

Could I make 1 suggestion, I would love to drink my morning coffee in an NN Journal mug, perhaps other subscribers would purchase one also, it could become an extra income stream to help with your business.

Thanks Chris. Very kind. Promotional ideas always welcome and hoping to get the word out a bit more in the coming months. Happy Easter.

Happy Easter to you and yours Sarah. I value NN Journal so much, I am desperate for it to thrive. Merchandise is definitely nothing to be ashamed of, I’ve lost count of how many times I tried to win a “Daily Politics” mug. If I could have bought one I would have been 1st in the queue. Could I email you with an idea of how to get this off the ground, at no cost to you.

Well done Sarah for shining the light on security matters whichn seems to be driven by some Council employees. Although, there are Councillors who makes disparaging remarks and wonder why the public will respond with abuse. If you attempt to shut yourself off from the public you do not serve your community.

So, the council have put up a rope barrier have they? I'm an optimist by inclination, but my reading of the indicators makes me very pessimistic about the future. We're clearly too stubborn and short-sighted to stop polluting our planet. Last week a representative of the National Farmers Union said we should stop calling it the climate crisis and call it the food and water crisis, because that's how it's impacting us. Social scientists see crop failure, food price inflation and increasing inequality as a recipe for societal breakdown. Once the food riots start the politicians will need more than a rope barrier to hold the public back.
