Many are sick and tired of this councils incompetence and it's inability to listen to the residents of Northampton, the planning committees approval of HMOs or HiMOs that from comments received do not comply with the Government guidelines, placing them either side of a family home and next door to one another, which when viewed overall exceeds the 10% within 50 metres, within the NN1 area are 58% of HMOs of the town. Small terraced houses are being bought and converted to HMOs, I thought the Government plan was to increase home ownership, how, on any planet, can young couples afford to buy when such good starter stock is allowed to be bought for profit rather than residences. WNC is disjointed, when phoning the other day I had to input that I was in Northampton, 3 times via the automated system, WNC is worse than NCC, I would suppose because the same people are at the helm, they need changing not the Council name.
