Here's another fine mess you've got us into. A Conservative County Council shut down by a Conservative Government for mismanagement, forcing the abolition of our local Borough Councils and leaving the taxpayer with a massive burden. Thanks for this.
Disappointing that the councils have not had much in the way of additional funding from central government particularly to offset the impact of the higher than expected costs of reorganisation, the impact of covid19 and the residual costs of the failed Conservative County Council.
With the austerity policy out of the window nationally as the battle against covid19 is fought and little extra for Northamptonshire would not have made much difference in the great scheme of things. Unfortunately we have supine, lickspittle MPs who cannot and will not stand up for their constituents.
