I m sorry.I don t seem to be able to sign in.I am a member of the Labour Party.But I do want to add some more comments to my comments made by phone.I ve spoken to Cller Sylvia Erskine who sits on the Wellingborough Town Council as a Labour Cller.Firstly,She said that Cller Andrew Scarborough,former leader of the Labour Group, has written presumably to the Chief Election Officer /Returning Officer expressing concern that people are being asked to travel several miles to sign the petition for a bye election.Secondly ,Sylvia has reported to me that electors have not received their polling cards for the Queensway Ward Bye Election of the WTC as of today s date .Polling day is on Thursday 16th November.These concerns are the subject of ongoing discussion by the Labour Party.Cller Elaine Francis is now the leader of the group & she might be contacted for comment.If the concerns are substantiated I would have thought that The Party s legal advisers should be complaining to the Electoral Commission if the complaints can be evidenced.Because collusion between the MP s office & Tory councillors may be suspected I m reminded of the articles NN Journal ran about the remarkably close relations of Mr Bone s Office with NNA Cllers.
