Excellent news Sarah. You've done an unemulable job raising the profile of this. The credit should really go to Simon Tilley who contributed to the discovery of this criminal mischief. Northants is on a seemingly uncontrollable downhill slide, and with the police stooges installed as they are, there is no reason to upheld the morality and ethics of the law when the main officer himself is a fraudster.
1 - what will the cost be to my constituents for this 'hearing'?
2 - will it be public?

As someone who serves actively across the county, and serving on Milton Keynes Council's Child Poverty Commission as I do, I have undertaken significant research into the continued dysfunction of our public services, authorities, and officials. Unfortunately, I myself have been maliciously prosecuted by the very same officers hired by Nick for reporting two of his colleagues for egregious sexual assault under the colour of law and continued antagonism and violence that recently resulted in my own permanent disability.
Nick's response? Prosecution for harassment/stalking as retaliation for the complaints of brutality and aggression, a hallmark of his personal hit squad. No one should be afraid to report criminal behaviour by criminals, irrespective of the costumes they wear - and this culture of intimidation, retaliation, and cultish self-approbation is reminiscent of 1930s socialist Germany - not the heartland of Britain.
This has dredged up unpleasant aspects of our public accountability infrastructure, and just like with the subpostmasters wrongfully imprisoned and killed by the same holier-than-thou attitudes Nick exhibits with undiluted histrionics, we must press on.
Never never never never never give up on reporting this Sarah.
Mr Mold now has a tiger by the tail, this could get very interesting. My guess is that Mr Adderley will either resign before any hearing, or take Moldy with him.
I remember last year Embrace radio having some sort of advert for Northants Police and specifically mentioning Adderley, his naval service and Falklands service. 🤷
I worked in youth services and outreach for years, and I had to have about a trillion background checks for obvious reasons. It took longer to get vetted for that work than any other job in local government, including the state police when I was training to be a state trooper in the USA, i have ever undertaken.
How then, pray tell, is it that the job for the most powerful person in the county, the chief constable, is given the job with a McDonalds style paper application and a couple of totally innocuous secondary-school level questions from an empannelled set of people he already knows without a single Google search of the most basic level that would have easily revealed all of the pockmarked gapes in his storied yarns... Something doesn't add up.
Well done Sarah, NN Journal is the only reliable source of news in the county. Come on everyone and subscribe for the cost of a cup of coffee a month.
Thanks Sarah, always at the forefront of local news. Wonder how long it will take to read this elsewhere 😂
Great work NNJournal
Excellent work getting this story out pretty much as soon as the IOPC announcement came out!

Public trust in an institution meant to uphold law, standards and governance is at a record low after countless scandals.
I’ll only regard the police and fire service seriously once there are leadership changes, until then it’s simply farcical.
Adderley and Mold have severely tarnished the fire and police organizations beyond repair
Not before time.
There is clearly a failure in carrying out stringent checks.
Did no one check out his previous roles?
I expect he is suspended on full pay. Will he have to pay that off if he’s found guilty?
It doesn’t make any sense
