Whose fault is it to let this court hearing get out of hand? I do not care about the excuses provided by the OPFCC. The whole cost will be charge to the tax payer.

Does it provide "Value for money " certainly not. The responsibility lies with the new Commissioner I.e Danielle Stone to take full responsibility for allowing all of this circus to happen. She is like a rabbit frozen in the headlights of a car. Stephen Mold, (the previous Commissioner) should have been called back into her office to explain what he did and why about the appointment of Adderley. Unfortunately, that office is filled with his political appointees and Danielle seems unable to do anything about that. Hence the escalating cost.

And if Adderley keeps delaying matters and bleeding public funds this figure will just increase. He might as well just go out and mug a pensioner at a cashpoint for the level of disrespect he is showing for public funds.

I foresee a Judicial Review on the horizon.

I've just posted similar on Twitter, but interesting conversation had with former colleagues in the legal/insurance world. If his legals are being funded by an insurance policy and this is either linked to his employment (where he lied on application forms so insurance privvy to same lies) or he lied when taking out the policy with similar nonsense about his background, even hiding a single address etc then the policy will be null and void. Even being found guilty of this could be enough for the insurance to pull the plug.

He may just find that all the delays and costs he has been running up writing blank cheques for this that someone else is picking up could end up landing back in his lap needing to be paid ASAP.

No better irony than the next hearing having him paying for it himself seeing a huge shift in his own legal team trying to cut down costs wherever possible or potentially removed as he cannot afford to lay his hands on £100k overnight with the meter running for the rest.

You are correct on your assessment. Any Insurance will do a Due diligence and would refuse to compensate him. This is my opinion.

Only £200,000? I am more concerned about the millions of £££ wasted on unqualified, misconduct-perpetuating lackeys hired by Nick and his staff who have probably the same if not more to answer for in their swathes of misconduct sweeping across Northamptonshire. This isn't, as any seasoned law enforcement officer recognises, the first time Nick / an officer commits a criminal offence; it is merely the first one that survived gauntlets of in situ protective paradigms that shield, deflect, and neutralise negative attention, none of which is surprising. It is standard operating procedure for anyone in power, and thus as old as humanity itself.
