Who will replace Stephen Mold as the Tory police commissioner candidate?

A few names are being bandied around in Conservative circles and a vocal critic has not ruled himself out

A councillor who has long been critical of disgraced police, fire and crime commissioner Stephen Mold, could be among those hoping to replace him.

Long standing Conservative councillor Andre Gonzalez de Savage has told NN Journal he has had people requesting for him to stand, following Commissioner Mold’s announcement on Friday evening that he would not be standing for re-election after his sexist slur about the female fire boss came to light.
