Weekly Friday brief: It’s results day
Details on how you can follow our election results coverage, plus a nasty dog bite for one candidate and some poetic news for one of the county’s saved libraries
Votes have all been cast and the democratic decision about who will run Northamptonshire’s two new unitary councils has been made.
For the first time, the election counts will take place the day after the ballot, due to a change brought about by Covid restrictions.
Natalie Bloomer will be reporting from Silverstone from midday covering the results for West Northamptonshire Council and Sarah Ward will be at Kettering Conference Centre from 10am bringing details of who has been elected to the new North Northamptonshire Council.
Throughout today we will be posting results live on our twitter feed and we will also be updating our blog throughout the day. Check in every now and then for the updates.
Tomorrow morning we will post an article bringing you the final results and the all important news of which political party is going to run the new councils.
