The Conservatives have to fess up to the fact that their extreme right wing policies bankrupted the county council and brought us to where we are today.
I'm not surprised that Reform have not replied. They're going to struggle to adapt to local politics. Their leaflets are all the same, based on national grievance issues such as immigration. No mention of local issues at all.
I would like to know, where the door steps are, that the two main political parties are getting their information from? certainly not in this neighbourhood!
The only Councillor that we have seen in this neighbourhood is Councillor Paul Clark (Independent). He demonstrates exacly what a good Councillor should be. I.e caring for the community that he represent. The policies that he has promoted are realistic and not "pie in the sky". He does not makes any false promises that he cannot deliver like the ones that are being promoted by Tories and Labour.
And Reform did not participate in the NN Journal survey. This tells the voter all that needs to said about this right winger shower. I also understand that Reform is declining to attend hustings in the WNC area. No further comment needed.
Adam Brown keeps on mentioning the funding debacle in Birmingham.
If I was in Brum, I’d be mentioning the funding debacle in Northants!
Pot, kettle & black comes to mind. 🥴

The Tories have saddled WNC and NNC with £millions worth of debt and it’s the honest, hardworking taxpayers who’re forced to foot the bill.
I wonder if voters are aware that successive years of maximum council tax rises are simply paying for Tory incompetence and financial mismanagement?
And they have the absolute brass neck to come on here bleating about how they’ve “balanced the books”. Utter poppycock!
Absolutely right Anon!

Reform have responded to the questions. Sarah Ward editor will be updating the article shortly.

Probably scared to be scrutinise by the public face to face.
