Rectory Farm community in shock following fatal fire
The community is rallying round after Sunday's 'horrific' fire

As fire tore through a home on Olden Road in the Rectory Farm area of Northampton on Sunday afternoon, the local community sprang into action to see if those affected could be helped in any way.
Before firefighters reached the scene two local residents ran into the burning building to try to save a man in his 30s who was trapped inside. Yesterday it was confirmed that he tragically did not survive.
The fire service received reports of the fire at around 1.30pm and arrived on the scene shortly after where they found the house well alight with smoke also coming from three neighbouring properties. Throughout the day fire engines from Moulton, The Mounts, Mereway, Wellingborough, Rushden, Brixworth and Rothwell attended the incident.
