Northants police chief says legislation not there to make his officers declare whether they are freemasons

Two years on from a report recommending police officers staff should register with their chief constable whether they are masons, no progress has been made

Staff at Northamptonshire Police will still not have to declare whether they are members of the secretive freemasons society, despite a national recommendation.
