These last minute decisions by outgoing, disgraced people always smell of corrupt practice. As ever, the heroes have been led by donkeys and asses. They deserve much better.
This will come as no surprise to many. This arrogant little man had to give the voters one last slap in the face. I’m sure he feels extremely proud of himself, because that’s the childish person he is.
This is an excellent example of why major corporations place “leavers” on immediate “gardening leave”. Someone who is leaving the top of an organisation can do a lot of damage in their final days. When he announced that he would not be standing for re-election, he should have been told to hand over his keys and I.D. Card, go home and not return to the office. The idea of Mold remaining to “ensure a smooth transition” was always for the birds.
I concur your sentiments exactly. There are urgent executive decisions that will need to be taken. However, it would require someone who has had corporate management experience to reverse the trapped that has been laid by Mold.
There are no probation. Only a contract of 4 years. Like any previous Confirmation Hearing for senior officers. However, you can see that Mold did not have any qualms in setting a trapped and she walked straight into it.
Well, well, well ....Do the public really want to honour the contract awarded by the former disgrace Commissioner? If he did not like her why should we? How is the new Commissioner going to sell the safety issues to the general public especially when this woman has no experience whatsoever in Fire fitting and according to what she had said in her confirmation hearing that she would have to rely on her Deputy?
The Mold stink will linger a little longer than the voters wanted it seems ...
Just as did Adam Simmonds.

Awful sleight of hand by the outgoing commissioner sign this off just before he left.
Danielle has to ensure that Nikki's performance is absolutely up to the mark when it is reviewed during any probation period she has.
