NN Journal hosts election hustings
Details of the upcoming hustings plus North Northants Conservatives banned from media interviews; questions still unanswered over NBC deal with local shoe manufacturer; and a polluted brook
Good morning and welcome to this week’s new round-up. You’ll see that we are hosting two election hustings this month where we’ll be putting your questions to candidates from the main parties. If you have something you would like to ask please make sure you send it in to us before the event.

We are putting on two online hustings later this month so that residents can hear more from the candidates hoping to get elected to the county’s two new unitary councils.
All of the major parties have been given the opportunity to take part in the events which will be hosted on Zoom and also available to watch on YouTube.
On Wednesday (April 21) at 6pm we will host the North Northamptonshire Elections Hustings. Dez Dell from the Greens, Labour’s Jean Addison, Chris Stanbra from the Lib Dems and Independent Jim Hakewill.
The Conservative group have declined the invitation.
