The inquest into the death of a man who is suspected to have murdered his younger girlfriend will be opened next week.

Marketing executive, Ben Green, 41, of Slate Drive in Kettering is thought to have stabbed his girlfriend Maddie Durdant-Hollemby, 22, to death at his home last month.

The pair were found in the house on Friday, August 27 after a call was made to police. An investigation continues but the force has said it is not looking for anyone else in connection with the murder.

An inquest was briefly opened into dancer Maddie’s death earlier this week and will be resumed in January.

Green’s inquest will be opened at the coroners court at Sessions House, Northampton on Thursday, September 16 at 11am.
