As protestors against mega warehouses take to streets and council chambers across the county, the area’s local enterprise partnership is carrying out a study into whether more are needed

Over the past 12 months there have been a number of protest groups in action across the county demonstrating against plans to build large warehouses on greenfield sites. But as residents come out in their droves to sign petitions and shout their protests outside planning halls, NN Journal can report that the region’s enterprise partnership SEMLEP (South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership) has tasked its data analysts with looking at how many more warehouses the county can locate.
