Investigation cost for misconduct councillor revealed

West Northamptonshire Council has told NN Journal how much it paid for the investigation into Phil Bignell’s behaviour at a contentious planning meeting.

An investigation into the actions of a councillor who predetermined a planning decision and was aggressive to a council officer, cost West Northamptonshire Council more (WNC) than £6,000.
