Tourism specialist suggests the area needs its own Angel of the North to bring in more visitors

Northamptonshire’s tourism rates have fallen by 30 per cent in the past decade, a new audit has found, with an expert suggesting the county needs its own ‘Angel of the North’ to boost visitor numbers.
The audit carried out by Tomorrow’s Tourism found the county has performed much worse than its neighbours (and most other parts of the country) in recent times, and that there is a lack of awareness from people outside of the county about what Northants has to offer.
