Is this misconduct in a public office?

While I have my own thoughts on Cllr Coleman, this is not a tit for tat scenario. If Cllr McElhinney believes Cllr Coleman has broken the code of conduct then the appropriate action would be to raise it with the Monitoring Officer, not badmouth them to residents.

Just shows he is a petty, nasty man unsuited for public office

Not surprised in the slightest considering the way he treats his constituents anyways. He accused one of being a bigot because they dared criticise him!

I attended the meeting last night. Councillor bill did not invite public to speak as part of the agenda, subsequently, any questions asked was promptly shut down until towards the end of the meeting when the matter of potholes was discussed.
