At our recent open newsroom one of the suggestions put forward by NN Journal members was that they would like us to run more follow-ups to our stories - so today we thought we'd explain a bit more about our recent Deliveroo investigation and update you on the latest developments.

Last week as part of a national investigation with the Bureau of Investigative Journalism and other partners, we spoke to Deliveroo couriers in Northampton about their experiences of working for the company. The way the story came together is unusual but something the Bureau does with great success. They decide on a subject they want to look into and then local reporters in various parts of the UK all start digging into the issue in their area. The findings are then fed back to form a wider national picture.
