I have only started taking an interest in local politics in recent years. I'm been surprised and disappointed by how disorganised, and sometimes corrupt they can be.
This wasn't the thing to bring up at the planning meeting, but why are the council not negotiating with Pat Boyle to buy some, or even all, of the flats to then rent out as council homes? A win- win I think. I'm standing down at the end of the year as we are moving away from the area but you might want to follow it up? Keep up the good work. Charlie Best
Smoke Screen and Mirrors and a free for all …make it up had they go along…no doubt under Sir Kier Starmers Yes in My Back Yard stance to Planing and the 1.5m housing target

If NNC has a 30% affordable housing policy and the developer has refused to comply with that requirement surely that means the application fails.
This decision seems to set a £522,000 as the price to ignore policy ......... and if one were being cynical maybe a few Xmas brown envelopes

Previous experience of local planning issues have convinced me of corruption ,and cases such as this merely reinforce that belief 💩

Don't blame Keir Starmer for this and every example of local incompetence (and bungs?).
