Martyn Emberson will be Conservative candidate on the ballot paper after current commissioner Stephen Mold decided to stand down after sexist slur expose
A man once in charge of Northants fire service has been named as the Tory candidate to replace Stephen Mold on the ballot at the coming May election.
Martyn Emberson, who led the county’s fire service for eight years until 2015, was the surprise winner last night, seeing off chair of South Northants Conservative Association Simon Clifford and Reverend Stephen Trott to secure the nomination.
