Standards are improving at primary and secondary schools in the North of the county according to inspectors, as now 85 per cent are graded as good or outstanding.

The numbers are still slightly below the England average of 88.7 per cent, but there has been a significant improvement since July 2022 to July this year, when just 78 per cent of North Northamptonshire schools were decided by inspectors to be good or outstanding.
